How to Reprint Michael Campbell's Articles and Blog Posts.

Good news everyone. I've made it a lot easier for you to use my articles. I now have a very simple byline and only a few rules.

You cannot change or modify the article, but you can introduce it, interject comments, and put ads on it, so long as they are distinguishable from the main article. The link to my site from the byline must be a normal link, no nofollow links or other Javascript nonsense.

Other than that, there's not a whole lot of formality. So if you'd like to use an article from this newsletter, the backissues, or a post from the blog, please read the five simple rules below, and if you agree abide by these rules, you can go ahead and use my articles on your web properties, newsletters and other publications that you own, without further written permission.

Five Simple Rules...

You agree to publish my articles one time only and not to several of your web properties. This will avoid the dupe content penalty of one site owner publishing the same content several times.

You agree to publish the article in its entirety, leaving the links "about the author" intact. The links must be clickable and remain spiderable by the search engines. Nofollow links, Dynamic Links, Javascript or other types of links that prevent PageRank and link popularity from spreading are not permitted.

You do not have permission to submit my articles to article directories, blogs, websites, newsletters, newspapers, press release services, or other media services or properties that you do not own. Your personal rights do not extend to any service that offers reprint rights. You may not package or resell my content.

The permission to use my content applies to newsletter articles and blog posts only. Permission to use my content DOES NOT apply to my personal email communications, ebooks, PDF files, audio files, or any advertising contained in the IMS newsletter or blog.

You may not post my content on any website that has been banned by Google, Yahoo!, MSN or any other search engine. If your site gets banned, you agree to remove my content from your site immediately.

By using my articles and blog posts you agree to these terms.

Whew! That was easy.

OK... Now the Byline to Accompany my Work...
